Roger L. “Chip” Mitchell
President

Roger L. “Chip” Mitchell is the father to 3 handsome boys, husband to an amazing and supportive wife, and is the proud owner of several businesses including Ensemble Bookkeeping (www.ensemblebookkeeping.com) and Growing Gray USA (www.growinggrayusa.com).

Chip is an entrepreneur who truly loves business. he has an MBA along with two undergrad degrees from Shorter University. Previously he has been the owner of multiple home care franchises in multiple states. Before starting his own business he served in many different roles in the Office of Advancement at Shorter University ultimately serving as the Director of Alumni Services and Development. After leaving employment at Shorter, Chip was asked to serve on the Alumni Governing Board ultimately serving as President.

Chip and his family are members of First Baptist Church – Lindale. Chip also is a part of the Cartersville Chapter of BNI having served in many leadership roles including President.

Rob Masters
Secretary/Treasurer

Rob is a 1987 graduate of Shorter College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Major in Accounting. Rob has also completed programs at the Southern Trust School, Georgia Banking School, and the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. In addition to the Bettye Reed Scholarship Foundation, Rob serves on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club, the Floyd County Schools School Governance Committee, the Coosa High School School Council, and the Shorter University Board of Visitors.

Robert T. Masters serves as the Secretary and Treasurer of the Bettye Reed Scholarship Foundation Inc. Rob has been in banking for 20+ years serving as a Vice President and Trust Officer at River City, SunTrust, Regions, and First Union banks. Rob has proactively worked with clients to help them define their financial goals and objectives using financial planning to analyze their financial resources and develop plans to meet their future needs using investments, estate planning, and traditional banking products such as credit and deposits.

Rob resides in the Coosa community with his wife and three children.

RJ Inmon
Vice President

Richard “RJ” Inmon is an Assistant Principal in the Hernando County School System. RJ earned his Bachelor’s degree from Shorter College and his Masters and Specialist Degrees from St. Leo University. He has worked in the Hernando School District since 2004. When he isn’t working at the school he is taking care of his foster children with his wife Jermice and spending time with his extended family.
